During my visit, I savored a warm blueberry scone that crumbled beautifully with each bite, bursting with flavor. The subtle sweetness complemented the richness of the butter, creating a harmonious balance that left me craving more. Complementing the scone, I tried their signature chocolate croissant, which was flaky, decadent, and truly a pastry lover's dream. Each dish is a testament to the skill and passion of the bakers behind the counter.

Very nice neighborly service! We come here for donuts somewhat regularly, great value. My family loves their cakes for celebrations too. They allow well behaved dogs inside and sell baked dog treats for $0.75. So grateful to be a short walk from here!

The selection of perfectly-made pastries is diverse and extensive. I have now tried nine different items including two different croissants, the Bear Claw, Apple Strudel, three cookies (Snickerdoodles so good), pepperoni roll, cannnoli and the Spinach and Feta Roll. Service is very personal and they will answer any questions you have about ingredients or preparation. Eat in or take out.

Went to the breakfast place next-door and there was a wait and they said we could wait outside or the bakery next-door... That was a little odd, but we went next-door to the bakery. Not the same owners by the way.. It smelled so good when we walked in and the woman behind the counter was awesome! We ended up getting the best apple fritters in the world and the best for quiche! We also bought an apple pie for Thanksgiving that I can take home and freeze! We will be back There's a picture of me eating the fabulous apple quiche, apple fritter!

GB did our daughter's first birthday cake last year. It was unbelievably delicious (almond & raspberry flavorings) and right on with the photo I sent for inspiration including multiple, bold colors and beautiful rosettes. It's her 2nd birthday in 2 weeks and even though it's overkill for her low-key party, I'm thinking about ordering another cake just became it was so good. We are de a Grandview family! The team was really great about helping make my selections the first time and made the process super easy. Highly recommend this place.

One of my friends recently got a new job, and this cupcake bouquet was the perfect way to congratulate him!!! It's absolutely adorable and then, they have a new coffee cup to take to their new role. Be careful when transporting the bouquet, I'd recommend having someone drive while you hold it to make sure it doesn't fall over. Also, keep it in the fridge until you can give it to the person you're celebrating! This is the cutest idea, thanks Grandview Bakery!

Stopped into Grandview Bakery when I was exploring the area. My receipt says John, so i'm going to say John was very personable when I was ordering I went with the Lady Lock and Toasted Almond Butter Cookie. Both were tasty. Not sure how busy it gets, but they had plenty of sitting when I popped in on the Saturday morning. It was nice to be able to sit down by the window and enjoy the moment.

Several years ago, I rated Grandview Bakery as 3 stars, but based on my recent visit, I will increase my rating to 4 stars. Grandview Bakery was founded in 2011. Their website says that they have over 100 items on their menu and that *some* items can be made gluten-free. During my visit this past weekend, I struggled to find a parking space that was close to the bakery, so I ran into the store while my husband looked for parking at a nearby lot. In the bakery, I saw one display case that was filled with cookies (e.g., thumbprints, kolaches, chocolate chip, lemon cranberry, sugar, turtle, pumpkin, pecan cherry, and peanut butter) and one display case that was filled with cakes (e.g., chocolate, strawberry, and red velvet) and cupcakes (e.g., burnt almond, pumpkin spice, maple bacon, carrot, nutella, and tiramisu). Two other display cases were filled with sweet breads, muffins, pies, donuts, macaroons, brownies, eclairs, etcetera. The prices were reasonable and ranged from about $1 for a kolachi to $38 for a non-custom cake. I waited a few minutes to order because a group of young girls was ahead of me in line. The employee behaved very patiently with the girls as they figured out how to pay for their purchase. I selected four items--one large ladylock, one snickerdoodle cookie, one apricot kolachi, and one pecan roll--and the total price was less than $8! The employee carefully packaged my treats in a box, and she called me "sweetie" and thanked me. The bakery had lots of space, tables, and chairs, but I chose to eat my treats at home. I rate the ladylock as 5 stars, the snickerdoodle as 4.5 stars, the apricot kolachi as 5 stars, and the pecan roll as 3 stars (slightly bitter).

It's been a pleasure to work with a bakery that really has their act together. I ordered cupcakes for several work events and the whole ordering process was flawless. The team is thrilled with the cupcakes. They really are beautiful (see photo). Thanks Grandview Bakery!

A friend & I stumbled into here while exploring Pittsburgh and the inclines/scenic overlooks. Immediately everything in the display cases looked amazing - it was so hard to choose! I ended up picking out a slice of cookie cake, buckeyes, a cake pop, then a cannoli and cheesecake cookie to give to my dogsitter. My friends chose a thumbprint cookie, mini cannoli, mini eclair, and a sprinkle cookie. Every single thing we picked tasted so good! I only took a picture of 1 display case but there were 5. 4 were completely full of treats and the 5th had donuts which had mostly sold out already. There were full coffee cakes and sweet breads, cupcakes and cakes, cookies, all sorts of other baked goods. The lady behind the counter was so nice as we took our time choosing and seemed to enjoy that we both asked her to keep an item out for an immediate snack. I meant to get a dog treat for my pup but forgot. There was plenty of seating inside. If I'm ever back in Pittsburgh I'm coming back and getting way more!

I came here on a whim for some pastries for myself and for cupcakes to bring for work. The service was so sweet and friendly. They were quick to help. They have a good selection from donuts to pastries to cookies to cupcakes to beautiful fun full cakes. Their cupcakes are delicious. They had pre-packaged cupcakes that were decorated for Easter - which were perfect for bringing to work. They were so fun and my coworkers loved them! The frosting was delicious. I will say that I enjoyed the vanilla and chocolate flavors that were in the pre-packs more than the salted caramel and chocolate eclair flavors that I ordered individually. I was also very happy with the bacon maple donut I got.
